Job Description / Responsibility

1.Patient Care in Emergency Department: Conduct initial assessments and manage patients in the Emergency Department.
Ensure appropriate medical care through direct provision or supervision of junior medical staff.
Initiate and organize diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Communicate assessment and management decisions to the relevant personnel.
Facilitate effective referral and patient disposition after leaving the Emergency Department.
2.Teamwork and Communication:
Utilize teamwork and effective communication for delivering healthcare.
Include patients and family members as appropriate team members.
Meet medico-legal requirements, including open disclosure.
3.Documentation and Review:
Ensure accurate and relevant documentation.
Review patient progress as necessary.
4.Retrieval Team Participation:
Participate in the retrieval team for transporting patients between facilities.
5.Departmental Activities:
Engage in departmental activities, including quality management, case reviews, teaching, and research projects.
6.Contributing Clinical Expertise:
Provide clinical expertise to patient care.
Offer guidance to junior medical personal.
7.Administrative and Risk Management:
Perform administrative duties and manage risk.
Maintain the highest standards in patient care.
8.Supervision and Mentoring:
Hire, supervise, and mentor healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with colleagues.
