Job Description / Responsibility

Conducts analytical studies and numerical simulations in order to predict the thermal performance of a variety of Chiller & VRF Technologies.
This position requires a hands-on individual with abilities to build prototypes, coordinate prototyping process, and design test assembly apparatus especially for VRF & Chiller.
Demonstrated understanding of the refrigeration cycle both Chiller & VRF.
Experience with the behavior of common VRF/Chiller system components, including heat exchangers, compressors, expansion valves, coils, fans, solenoids, etc.
Validates simulation results by experimentation in a thermodynamics lab, where hands-on experience to design and conduct the empirical research is necessary.
Synthesizes results from simulations and experimentation in order to provide design guidance to the Mechanical Design team.
Modifies existing, and establishes new design, test, simulation, and analysis specifications.
Contributes to inventions, new product design, testing, analysis, and design techniques.
Demonstrates creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented engineering problems, determining development objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for development activities.
Development activities include, but are not limited to: concept/innovation, design, creating technical specifications, reporting results in tables/curves, patenting, data acquisition and analysis, component selection, compliant for necessary testing and procedures (standards, performance, etc.).
Documented experience working on innovative R & D based solutions ideally involving heat transfer/fluid dynamics/energy based systems or refrigeration.
